The Sagradan Preschoolers had been exposed to different kinds of fun activities as a part of United Nations’ Awareness Month. In a day, they’ve got to experience traveling; had a glimpsed of several countries.
Spain, Italy, Mexico, Germany, China, Switzerland, USA and Philippines were the featured countries in the Preschool building. The preschool teachers designed their classrooms according to the country designated for their class. They even collaborated with their students in making some creative designs; most were hung on their classroom walls and ceilings.
The children got educated with each country’s culture and were taught of some basic language in each nationality. The Sagradan kids obviously had fun engaging themselves in the said activity.
They also had their United Nations’ Food Fest, October 27. Each child brought some famous delicacies of the featured country of their class. The teachers made and designed food booths that showcased the beauty of each country. The children enjoyed roaming around the MDSF gym, visiting each food booths and tasting the delicacies of the different countries.
It was indeed a taste of the different countries! Through each country’s delicious foods and colorful culture, the Sagradan Preschoolers have learned to embrace each nationality. At a young age, they were taught of the acceptance of the diversity of each nation and the importance of peace and unity.
