The MDSF Food and Services Department conducted an orientation on good manners and right conduct at the school canteen among Grade 2 students last June 16, 2017. The orientation was headed by the food services head, Mrs. Maria Carmina S. Perion, in cooperation with the students’ advisers. It aims to teach the students how to be independent when eating and how to properly use the facilities of the school canteen even at an early age. The students were shown how to fall in line at the food counter, how to get the food they want to eat and how to pay for their food. They were introduced to our friendly canteen helpers who are always available to attend to the students’ needs. They were also reminded to clean up their space after eating and throw their trash in the trash bins provided at the canteen. Proper segregation of used utensils such as plates, spoons and forks were demonstrated during the orientation. The other grade levels are scheduled to have their orientation as well.
