Exhibits, Fun Run, Tours and Radio Broadcasting promoting healthy lifestyle, environmental sustainability and community appreciation were the highlights of the Elementary Department’s Culminating Activity held last April 3 and 4, as they close the Academic year 2022-2023.
The Culminating Activity showcases each grade level’s goal achievement at the end of the school year. The Lower grade school had their Environmental Sustainability Exhibit, Color Fun Run and Culture and Traditions of Region 3, while the Upper grade school promoted Climate Change awareness and Sustainable Community through Radio Broadcasting and Diorama Exhibit.
“The 2nd-semester performance tasks culminating activities are strong evidence that when students are well guided by competent teachers they can produce top-tier outputs and performances. It was a clear manifestation that our teachers are one with the school in promoting 21st-century learning in every aspect of students’ school life.” said Mr. Dela Cruz, Vice Principal for Academic Affairs.
This event is anchored in the institution’s vision to be the learning hub for creativity and innovation, promoting meaningful learning experiences through solving real-life problems.
He also applauded the faculty’s effort in coming up with exciting and meaningful events to celebrate the learning efforts of the students as he saw the laughter and smiles of the students as he visited each culminating event of every grade level.
“Being on board with our goals in the department is very crucial if we want to promote creativity and innovation to our learners, so with that a big thanks to our teachers and supervisors. I am the proudest of what our department has achieved over the past ten months.” he added.
This culture of celebrating meaningful learning experiences of the students is one practice that the institution wants to continue in the future as the school embarks on a new school year.
