The MDSF Vikings went forth another bountiful medal harvest after a remarkable stint in the last Bulacan Private Schools Associations (BulPrisa) Athletic District III and Provincial Athletic Meet held last February 1-4 and February 16-17 at the Montessori De Sagrada Familia Swim Center.
Despite the pandemic, the MDSF Vikings swimming team are still victorious and one of the best teams in Bulacan.
“Winning experience!” This is what Coach Michael says about how the MDSF Vikings are still victorious despite the 2 year pandemic. He also mentioned that the team is one of the best and established teams here in Bulacan and the experience from their past gave them an edge against other teams. As a result of not being able to train due to the pandemic, the swimmers have to train extra hard so that they can regain their strength and speed. Aside from experience Coach Michael believes that discipline and hard work is the most precious things an athlete should have.
The team shows their prowess and winning experience as they dominate the top 10 outstanding swimmers of Bulacan with Josiah C. Venturina as 1st, Azula Elise G. Villanueva and Dinh McKenzie B. Santos on 2nd and Enzo Gabriel M. Sabariaga in 3rd place. Also joining them on the top 10 are Shaira Jo Y. Castro ranked 7 and Zairah Desiree M. Tejero ranked 8th.
