After two years of doing it online, the annual Open House of Montessori De Sagrada Familia, Inc. (MDSF) was done face-to-face again, April 30.
All interested families were invited to the preschool conference to listen to the presentation of the school’s learning programs such as the Flexible E-Learning Program for Young Sagradan (FLY), Sagradan Access to Flexible E-Learning (SAFE), the homeschool program (PLAY), and Campus Reopening for Authentic and Transformative Education (CREATE).
Moreover, the facilities and the preparations of the school for the reopening next school year were also presented. A tour was also conducted so the participants could see the physical facilities of the school.
Mrs. Maria Cristina Silamor, the principal and school directress of MDSF, believes that the on-site open house is a way to answer the queries of the families so they can come up with a sound decision related to the schooling of their children.
“We expect our families to connect to one another. It’s very important for the parents to feel that there is a community who can accommodate them during this transition time,” she mentioned.
Meanwhile, the open house set on April 30 was just the first leg of the series of open houses to be conducted in the succeeding weeks.
