Last January 19, 2019, a seminar on The Science of Happiness and Well-Being was conducted to Sagradan parents of elementary and high school departments. The seminar’s facilitator, professor and clinical psychologist Dr. Ronnie Motilla discussed about the five important keys to achieving a positive outlook and fulfillment in life: positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning and accomplishments. He also added the dimension of spiritual deepening as the most important factor in achieving happiness.
Through the seminar, participants (parents and teachers) saw the importance of mindfulness in ensuring that there is quality in the habits, thinking patterns, relationships, and activities that they nourish in their lives because these factors contribute to one’s well-being.
