The Sagradan Preschoolers were exposed to different kinds of activities that raised their awareness of the importance of one’s health. At their young age, they are educated to take care of themselves.
The Junior Casa pupils had an interaction with the school nurse, Ms. Resonia Fritz Mangiral, July 25. Nurse Fritz discussed different healthy habits through a storytelling. The JC pupils were all engaged as they listened to the story of Monica, a girl who loves to eat unhealthful foods.
In this story, Nurse Fritz tackled the dangers of eating unhealthful foods as well as the benefits of eating healthful foods. Afterwards, the pupils had fun joining sorting games. Nurse also asked them different questions about the story and about taking care of one’s health.
The little Sagradans learned many health tips and habits during the Nutrition Month Celebration and they are all eager and excited to put these into action.
