Kids learn best when they are involved in the process and engaged in the experiences. That’s why here at MDSF, the teachers make sure that the children are really included in the learning process, they have direct experiences about the concepts that they are learning.
The Junior Casa pupils had fun in their “Crazy Walk”, September 21. In this activity, the JC pupils are exposed to tactile activities. The children were barefooted as they walked and stepped on the different objects (e.g. feathers, rubber mat, shells, grasses, twigs, sponges, stones, yarns, and water). While they were stepping on these objects, their teachers were asking them regarding its different texture. This fun activity was part of the day’s concept which is “Rough and Smooth”. The pupils learned more through sensorial activities and they enjoyed being exposed to them.
MDSF will continuously provide children different experiences in which they will learn best and they will remember forever.
