Every opening of classes, Montessori De Sagrada Familia expresses its gratitude towards God and asks His divine guidance for each member of the community through the Mass of the Holy Spirit. Celebrated by Sagrada Familia Church’ parish priest, Rev. Fr. Ventura Galman, he addressed each one present in the eucharistic celebration by reminding the MDSF community that our Lord God loves us very much, and that we should reciprocate His love by loving one another.
He also emphasized to the pupils and students that their parents want nothing but the best for them. He reminded that life should be taken good care of, and that the advices given by their parents are a way of telling them how much they loved them. Those advices should not be taken negatively, instead should be appreciated for not all children experience the same love and affection given to them by their parents, the reason why there were some teenagers who took their own lives at a very young age. As for the parents, Fr. Galman reminded them that they should never cease loving their children by being physically there for them, and not just compensating their absence by the material things they provide them.
Going to the last part of his homily, Fr. Galman reminded everyone that Jesus loves all of us and will continue to love and forgive us unceasingly, just waiting for each one of us to embrace His love with open arms. The celebration ended with the blessing of all June birthday celebrants.
