“Come back is real,” said Jonah Rochelle G. Hilario, after bagging the silver medal out of 15 Senior High School contestants in On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest held at Baliuag University, September 21.
Since 6th grade, Hilario was the consistent participant in BulPriSA-Poster Making due to her natural skill and love for arts. Unfortunately, last year was not a good shot for her. But this year, due to the continuous training, passion, and desire, she regained both the confidence and pride.
“I regain the chance to prove my ability to win for God, for the school, for my family and second family, and for myself,” expressed Hilario.
Moreover, Mrs. Rowena Jumacquio, Hilario’s coach, gave series of training for possible topics through sharing her primitive knowledge of the arts as a graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts.
“It’s the pure talent of Jonah and God’s grace. God calls the shots whether one deserves to win or not. This is really a sweet victory for us due to our unfortunate experience last year,” said Mrs. Jumacquio.
Hilario will automatically proceed to the next level of the competition— the road to provincials.
