Sagradan Parents embraced positive changes of Montessori De Sagrada Familia (MDSF) during the series of Parents’ Orientation in the newly built Social Hall, June 27-30.
Mrs. Maria Cristina S. Silamor, School Directress, introduced all the significant changes in school—from the fascinating social hall, newly unveiled logo, recently crafted vision-mission, freshly refined core values of Sagradans to the least observed changes in school.
Moreover, Mrs. Vilma C. Dela Cruz, School Principal, gave emphasis on the school policies that MDSF imposes to its students. For the parents to be aware, she highlighted their concern regarding haircuts, proper uniform, dismissal time, tardiness, as well as the sanctions for violations.
In addition, Mrs. Dela Cruz encouraged parents to try the Senior High School Program of MDSF in which it offers three major strands under the academic track such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), and Accountancy and Business Management (ABM). She also discussed the curriculum and different subjects of Senior High School Department on the last day of the Parents’ Orientation.
Meanwhile, the coordinators from the different academic departments familiarized the parents with the assessment procedures and grading system according to Department of Education (DepEd) memorandum. Also, parents had a chance to address their concerns about their children to their class advisers.
