Montessori De Sagrada Familia pledged commitment earlier today regarding the proper utilization and maintenance of the public footbridge located near the campus during its inauguration and turnover ceremony held at the elementary school parking area. School Directress Maria Cristina Silamor assured District II representative Gavini “Apol” Pancho and Mayor Ferdinand Estrella that the Sagradan community will take part in maintaining the condition of the Tangos footbridge located along BS Aquino Avenue.
She promised to the government officials that Sagradans will take care of the pedestrian overpass and “treat it as one of their own” and that the school will play a huge role in educating its students about following traffic rules and regulations.
To concretize the school’s support to the local government, Silamor also announced in the same event that MDSF will begin to accept selected public school students in Baliwag who will join the training program of the school’s swim team, the Sagradan Vikings.
At present, the school is installing the roof for the footbridge to give further shade for pedestrians and in anticipation for rainy days ahead.
