It has always been the school administration’s belief that in order for an education institution to flourish and succeed, the human resource must be its top priority. Last May 24, 2017, the members of the board of directors and the executive council were given a comprehensive lecture on effective school governance. Dr. Noel Racho, Human Resource Director of Miriam College, discussed the importance of setting strategies for managing the human resources of the organization that will pave the way for better performance and efficiency among employees. After the interactive session with Dr. Racho, the School Directress, Mrs. Maria Cristina Silamor, tasked the school’s human resource officer, Mrs. Roberta Lopez to establish a stronger HR program that will address the needs of faculty members and staff and promote employee motivation and engagement.
